Step 1 - Get a calculator and figure out how much paste you need. The golden mixture is...

1 cup water, 3 tablespoons flour, 1 tablespoon sugar.

Step 2 - Pour measured water alone into the pot and bring to a boil.

Step 3 - While the water is heating up, put measured flour in mixing bowl. Add enough COLD water to make it the same consistency as thick motor oil.

Make sure there are no clumps.

Step 4 - Once the water has start to boil, turn down the heat to Low/Med and start SLOWLY adding your flour goopy-ness.
Use one hand to pour, stir with the whisk with the other. Scrape the mixing bowl clean.

Step 5 - After a minute or 2, the mixture starts to boil like lava. Slowly stir in the sugar. Keep on stirring while doing so.

Step 6 - You're still stirring for 3 minutes.

TIP - The reason you stir thee entire time is to prevent the paste from burning.
If you burn the paste, you'll end up with giant boogers in your mixture, they are very annoying.

Step 7 - Pour completed paste into bucket and let it cool to luke warm.

TIP - clean your dishes STAT. Once wheat paste
dries on a whisk, its a pain in the ass to clean off.

Step 8 - Apply paste to any flat surface using a paint brush then put poster on paste. Make sure to paste enough so that
every inch of the poster is adhered to the surface.

Step 9 - Add another layer of paste over the top to the poster (to weather proof it), and let it dry for 4-6 hours.

TIP- excess wheat paste around the poster can ruin painted surfaces.
